On Saturday, Oct. 31, the Shelton Heights Community Park hosted its 3rd Annual Trick or Treat Hike. This year, nearly 200 children dressed in their favorite costumes were able to trick-or-treat around the ¼ mile walking trail. The event was approved by the Marion County Health Department and all COVID-19 precautions were taken to keep the public safe. The event had over 20 sponsors organizations onsite with tables to distribute candy to children. In addition, a pumpkin patch was set up and children could pick out their own pumpkin to take with them.

The park is owned by Indy Gateway and is located at 3844 Rockville Avenue in Indianapolis. Indy Gateway works with the Shelton Heights Neighborhood leaders to promote community events and improve the quality of life for residents.
