Raise a Glass for Green Spaces: Annual Pints for Parks Event to be held at Guggman Haus Brewing Co. with host Jared Evans

Indy Gateway is excited to invite community members, leaders, and local supporters to Guggman Haus Brewing Co. on Thursday, Oct. 9 from 5-7 PM for Pints for Parks, the nonprofit’s annual fundraising event that helps support Shelton Heights Park. Guests will enjoy the venue’s award-winning craft beer, light appetizers, and the chance to connect with neighbors and local leaders.

Event host and City-County Councilor Jared Evans hopes both long-time supporters and those new to the cause will find that Pints for Parks offers a meaningful and relaxed way to give back:

“This event is more than just great drinks and small bites — it’s a chance to invest in the west side’s shared spaces and celebrate community-driven progress. Each ticket purchased ($50) supports improvements and programs at a local reclaimed park space, including projects like the Blessing Box food pantry, the beloved Trail & Treat Halloween event, and ongoing enhancements that make the space safe, welcoming, and vibrant for all,” said Evans.

Tickets for the event can be purchased online through Eventbrite, and for those unable to attend, donations can be made via PayPal. For those interested in additional information regarding this event or the Indy Gateway organization and mission, Executive Director Lisa Bentley can be contacted at lisa.bentley@indygateway.org.
