In April, the community came together to celebrate Indy Gateway at our 10th Anniversary Breakfast. The crowd’s participation, generosity, and enthusiasm made the event truly special, and Indy Gateway couldn’t have asked for a better way to commemorate this milestone.
Indy Gateway was established in 2015 by a group of committed local leaders and residents determined to revitalize the west side of Indianapolis. Their vision was to tackle issues like deteriorating infrastructure and a shortage of affordable housing. The organization quickly gained 501(c)(3) status with backing from the West Side Chamber of Commerce. Early initiatives led to transformative projects that revitalized neglected areas and set the stage for ongoing community development.
Indy Gateway focuses on affordable housing, infrastructure enhancement, quality of life improvements, and economic growth. These efforts are essential to making the west side of Indianapolis a thriving place to live and work. Indy Gateway has transformed neighborhoods, built homes, and attracted businesses, securing a bright future for the west side of Indianapolis.
A decade celebrated for improving our community, we’re just getting started for a stronger, more prosperous future for our neighborhoods.
